PRIME | 12% Vitamin C Serum with Niacinamide and Acerola Ferment

Two vitamin C derivatives — why not L-ascorbic acid
L-ascorbic acid is the most active form of vitamin C, but also the least stable: it oxidizes quickly and, at the acidic pH it needs, can irritate the skin. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate and ascorbyl glucoside are stable forms that the skin gradually converts into vitamin C. We chose them for a formula that stays consistent from the first drop to the last, and for comfortable daily use. Vitamin C derivatives have been studied for skin radiance and post-blemish marks (Klock et al., 2005; Al-Niaimi & Chiang, 2017).

Niacinamide — vitamin C's partner
Vitamin B3 is one of the best-documented cosmetic ingredients for even tone and for maintaining the skin barrier: clinical studies have shown a more even-looking complexion and fewer visible spots (Bissett et al., 2005; Hakozaki et al., 2002). Alongside the vitamin C derivatives, it addresses radiance and tone from two directions.

Acerola ferment
Acerola is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C; fermented with Lactobacillus, it becomes a conditioning ingredient that completes the serum's antioxidant identity.

Comfort: panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, calcium PCA
They maintain hydration and a calm skin feel — which is why the serum can be used daily, even by skin that doesn't tolerate classic vitamin C serums.

White cream texture The story behind the formula

I developed PRIME Serum for skin experiencing dullness or changes in tone, choosing two stable vitamin C derivatives alongside niacinamide. Hydrating and skin-conditioning ingredients were equally important to the everyday experience. The aim was an antioxidant step that fits consistently into a routine chosen around skin needs, rather than an age threshold.

What is it?

An antioxidant serum featuring two stable vitamin C derivatives and niacinamide to care for dull, uneven-looking skin. Panthenol, allantoin and sodium hyaluronate complement the formula with hydration and comfort. The fluid texture fits easily into a daily routine before moisturiser and, in the morning, sunscreen.

What does it do?

The vitamin C derivatives are there for radiance, and niacinamide for a more even tone and less visible spots. Used daily, the serum helps a dull complexion look brighter, and superficial post-blemish marks can become less noticeable. In the morning, under SPF, it adds antioxidant ingredients to your routine.

Who can use it?

For all skin types, especially normal, combination and oily skin that prefers light textures. A good choice when your complexion looks dull or tired, your tone is uneven, or post-blemish marks linger.

The formula’s role in your routine

Daily antioxidant care gives the PRIME routine a clear direction: preserving the appearance of radiance and an even tone while keeping skin hydrated. This serum combines two vitamin C derivatives with niacinamide and comfort-focused humectants. It is a considered foundation for early longevity care, complemented by daily sun protection.

Questions about the formula

Why vitamin C derivatives and not L-ascorbic acid?
For stability and comfort. L-ascorbic acid oxidizes quickly and needs an acidic pH that can irritate. The derivatives we chose are stable, and the skin gradually converts them into vitamin C — which is why the serum can be used daily, even by skin that's sensitive to pure vitamin C.
Can I use vitamin C and niacinamide together?
Yes. The idea that they cancel each other out comes from old studies on unstable forms at high temperatures. In this serum, the two were formulated together precisely because they complement each other.
Does it help with dark spots and post-blemish marks?
With consistent use, the serum helps the complexion look more even and gradually softens the look of superficial unevenness and post-blemish marks. For persistent dark spots or melasma, we recommend seeing a dermatologist and strict sun protection.
Should I use it in the morning or evening?
Morning is ideal, under moisturizer and SPF, when antioxidants have the most work to do. It can also be used in the evening.
Can I combine it with retinoids or exfoliating acids?
Yes: PRIME in the morning, retinoid or acid in the evening. If your skin is sensitive, introduce actives gradually.
I'm in my twenties. Is it too early for vitamin C?
No. An antioxidant serum belongs in every adult routine; at this age, the goal is radiance and preserving skin quality.
