Matrixyl™ 3000 (Sederma)
Combines two matrikine signal peptides: palmitoyl tripeptide-1, described as a messenger for collagen renewal, and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7. In a placebo-controlled study with 23 women, a cream with Matrixyl™ 3000 applied to one half of the face, against a placebo cream on the other half, reduced wrinkle depth and volume and skin roughness (Sederma, 2021). That result belongs to the ingredient. Here the peptides sit in a nourishing base, so one cream addresses both wrinkles and dry skin.

A rich lipid base
Jojoba oil is the first ingredient after water. It is made of wax esters similar to those in skin's own sebum, which is why it softens without feeling greasy. Safflower oil brings linoleic acid, cranberry seed oil omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and shea butter and squalane complete the base.

I paired Matrixyl™ 3000 with a generous emollient base of jojoba and other plant oils, shea butter and squalane. How to use

Apply in the evening to clean skin as the last step of your routine.
Smooth over the face and neck and massage gently until absorbed. Leave on overnight.
Apply it after DEFEND Serum or other hydrating or antioxidant serums.
On evenings with retinoids or exfoliating acids, apply it after the active product if your skin tolerates the combination. If irritation occurs, use the active less often.
Avoid contact with the eyes.

The mask hydrates and softens, with no acids, retinoids or peptides. DEFEND Night Cream contains Matrixyl™ 3000 peptides and a different lipid base of jojoba, safflower, cranberry and shea butter.

Can I use it after retinoids or acids?

Yes, if your skin tolerates the combination: apply it after the active product. If irritation occurs, use the active less often.

Does it suit oily skin?

It is designed for normal, dry or dehydrated skin. For oily skin, the fluid DEFEND Serum is usually the better choice.

Mi s-a recomandat gama Reborn dar crema aceasta mi-a atras atentia prin ingredientele avute. Imi place foarte mult, are o textura bogata, se intinde si se topeste pe ten. Pentru pielea mea extrem de uscata este perfecta! O recomand cu toata increderea!
